Nitotile GPX is a cementitious based high quality tile adhesive available in both Grey & White colour, for the permanent fi xing of ceramic, glass mosaic, vitrifi ed tiles, all stones dense and large dimension (> 300mm x 300mm) having porosity less than or equal to 3% for both internal & external application of tiles for wet area, dry area & submerged conditions. It is suitable for fi xing tiles of size upto 600mm x 600mm and bed thickness upto 6mm and can be extended upto 12mm thickness in a area of limited extent.

To accelerate the stiffening and early strength gain of Portland cement concrete and mortar.  Typical applications include concrete or mortar placed in cold weather and pre-cast concrete. 
Particularly effective in assisting to offset the delaying effect of low temperatures on setting and strength gain.  Accelerated setting gives added protection against early age frost attack.  Also provides a degree of water reduction or increased workability.  Suitable for use in bricklaying mortar.  Chloride-free, safe for use in reinforced concrete.

Dekguard S is a single component, solvent based, aliphatic acrylic pigmented protective coating for application to concrete and masonry. It provides outstanding resistance to carbon dioxide, chloride ions, UV light and rain. After application, the passage of water and waterborne contaminants is inhibited. Dekguard S is available in a wide range of colours, ready for immediate site use.

Conplast WL is a dark brown liquid based on lignosulphonates which mixes readily with water and therefore disperses evenly. Conplast WL waterproofs by improving the quality of the concrete or mortar. It reduces the water demand for required workability and minimises segregation and bleeding. Thus it is more effi cient compared to traditional powder waterproofers as its use results in two fold improvement of concrete or mortar.

Thioflex 600 is available in gun and pouring grades. The gun grade is ideal for general application. It is packed in a ready to mix, 2.5 litre tin containing the base and curing agent in the correct proportions. The pouring grade for joints in horizontal surfaces is supplied in 5 litre packs with the base and curing agent in separate tins. Thioflex 600 is particularly recommended.

Fosroc provides a technical advisory service for onsite assistance and advice on admixture selection, evaluation trials and dispensing equipment. Technical data and guidance can be provided for admixtures and other products for use with fresh and hardened concrete.

Properties:

• Compatibility: Can be used with all types of cements,including pozzolanic but not High Alumina Cement.
• Permeability to water: Less than 15% as compared to 50% max. allowable under IS:2645compared to control sample Setting Time: No significant effect on setting time of concrete or mortar.
• Compressive Strength: Maintains compressive strength equal to control concrete or mortar and can even improve on strength property if full advantage of water reduction potential is utilised.

Application instructions

• Mortar: Conplast WL is ideal for use with all sand/cement mortars where it is required to reduce permeability to a minimum.
• Concrete: Conplast WL is recommended for all general mass concrete work where, due to harsh aggregates, difficulty of compaction or mix control, the risk of porosity and permeability must be minimised. Eg. Basements, bund walls, tanks, balcony, floor and roof slabs. N.B.: The minimum dosage is 125ml and the maximum is 200ml per 50kgs of cement. If maximum dosage is used a minimum of 15% water should be reduced to ensure no loss
• in strength. Site trials shall be carried out to arrive at the optimum dosage.
• The required quantity of Conplast WL is measured and stir into the first or second bucket of water.
• Conplast WL water mixture shall be added to the concrete or mortar and mixed thoroughly.
• Mixing shall be continued and further water shall be added until the required workability is obtained.

Preparation:

• The unrestrained surface area of the repair must be kept to a minimum. The formwok should include drainage outlets for pre-soaking and, if beneath a soffit, provision for airventing. Provision must also be made for suitable access points to pour or pump the mixed micro-concrete in place.
• Defective concrete surfaces must be cut back to a sound base. Smooth surfaces should be mechanically roughened. Corroded reinforcing steel should be exposed around its full circumference and cleaned to remove all loose scale and corrosion deposits.
• One coat of Nitozinc Primer should be applied on the reinforcing steel. If any discontinuity in the applied film is noticed, one more coat has to be applied.
• Several hours prior to placing, the concrete substrates should be saturated with clean water. Immediately prior to placing, any free water should be removed. Alternatively, all prepared concrete substrates should be primed using Nitobond EP, a slow - setting epoxy bond aid. Nitobond EP shall be applied only on dry substrate.

Mixing

• Care should be taken to ensure that Renderoc RG(L) is thoroughly mixed in a forced-action mixer of adequate capacity. Alternatively, mix in a suitably sized drum with a high torque (400/500 rpm) rotary drill fitted with a mixing paddle.
• It is essential that machine mixing capacity and labour availability is adequate to enable the placing / pumping operation to be carried out continuously. The quantity water required will generally be between 4.5 and 4.75 litres per 25 kg bag of Renderoc RG(L). The optimum water content should be determined and accurately measured into the mixer.
• However it should not exceed 4.75 litres / 25 kg in any case. With the mixer running, slowly empty Renderoc RG(L) bag into the mixer. Mix continuously for 5 minutes, ensuring a smooth even consistency of the mix.
• Where the addition of graded coarse aggregate has been specified it should be added after the water and Renderoc RG(S) are properly mixed. Mixing should then continue for a further 1 minute to ensure proper dispersion.

Form Work

• Slurry tight form work that will not deform or leak when subjected to hydraulic pressure imposed by the microconcrete will be fabricated and erected where the material is gravity fed. Provision in the formwork will be made for a suitable feed-hopper at the highest point. Where necessary, provision will be made for airvents to prevent air entrapment. Form work will be coated with Reebol mould releasing agent prior to fixing.

Placing

• The mixed material should be placed immediately. If placed by pump,standard concrete pumping practice should be followed. The pump and pipeline must be primed with cement slurry.
• Pumping should be commencedimmediately after priming. If poured in the form work, avoid air entrapment by pouring from one side only.
• Low temperature working In cold conditions down to 15 0 C, the use of warm water (upto 30 0 C) is advisable to accelerate strength development. Normal precautions for working with cementitious materials in winter should be adopted.

High temperature working

• At ambient temperature above 35 0 C the material should be stored in the shade and cold water used for mixing.

Note:

• For repair sections generally deeper than 100mm it may be necessary to mix the Renderoc RG(L) with properly graded 5mm to 12mm silt free aggregate to minimise temperature rise. The quantity of aggregate required may vary between 50 - 100% by weight of Renderoc RG(L) depending on the nature and configuration of the repair location.
